The Couloir 40 from Exped is brimming with many practical features, it offers a comfortable fit and plenty of storage space.

Durable, spacious and other great details

It features a tear and abrasion resistant Oeko-Tex certified synthetic outer that’s made of 100% sustainable materials and both the front and the bottom are reinforced with EVA foam. Plus, the main compartment can hold 40 litres of stuff and is accessible via the lid opening and zip system on the back. The latter allows you to open the backpack in the snow without getting the back wet. Some other great features include the brightly coloured interior that gives you a better overview of your valuables, the separate, easily accessible compartment for your avalanche equipment in the front, the two adjustable attachment points for ice axes and poles and the additional attachment straps along with the pocket on the hip belt. Conveniently, you can either transport your skis on the side, diagonally or fastened under the lid compartment. By the way, the Couloir 40 is compatible with the separately available Exped Mesh Helmet Holder.
